Deposit Policy: All hunts require a non-refundable deposit equal to one day’s hunt cost per hunter, due prior to arrival in order to reserve your spot in the blind: • $650 for Duck/Goose Combo • $550 for Late Season Goose-Only
Food & Amenities: We do not provide meals, but the lodge has a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor grilling area with a grill, and a full grocery store just a couple of blocks away. There are also plenty of great food options within 5 minutes of the lodge. Closest Airport: Wichita – 1 hour 10
Before we ever ran our first hunt here at Greenwood Prairie, our number one goal was always going to be quality over quantity. We wanted to provide the best experience for our customers every single time and be as consistent as possible—even with the variables Mother Nature throws at us.
This is why we hunt over high-quality, large decoy rigs like DSDs and Dakotas, and always use A-frame style blinds. We move every single day to stay on fresh birds and stay on the “X.”
As every waterfowler knows, this can be a tough feat sometimes. However, with access to over 20,000 acres in a premium flyway, we have a lot of ground to cover each evening to stay on the birds.
That’s why, on slower days, if we have to sit them out, we will. But typically, if the hunt is slow, we’ll call it around 2 p.m. to give us enough time to pack up, hit the road, and scout—giving us the best chance to turn things around the next morning.
After all, sometimes nature gets the win. But rest assured—nobody will work harder than us to give you and your group the best possible hunting experience every single day, and to bring you memories and moments that will last a lifetime.
